Importing contacts into eEdge

◄ NOTE - Please read "Preparing your contacts for import" before beginning this process

To import your contacts into eEdge, you'll need to have them in one of 4 formats:
A) Basic Contact List - in which case you'll need to use the Market Leader template found here
B) Outlook 2007 CSV (although most other versions of Outlook will use the same format, I would recommend only uploading 5 contacts the first time and checking the integrity of the contact record to see if the fields line up correctly. Uploading a dummy record, where all fields are populated with something similar to the field name, is recommended)
C) Top Producer 8i
D) MyRealEstateTools / MyRedTools

Once your contacts are in the desired format,
1. Log in to myKW
2. Click "View Contacts" in the eEdge Control Panel
3. Hover "Contacts" in the gray bar and select "Import/Export"
4. Select your File Type (from A-D above) in column 1
5. Select your Contact Status (column 2)
6. Select your Contact Type (column 2)
7. Select group to which contacts should be added (optional) (column 2)
8. Click "Browse" (column 3)
9. Find your desired file and select "Open" or "Select"
10. Click the box to agree that the contacts have opted-in and you are not going to be spamming them, and then click "Import"

Re: Importing contacts into eEdge

Here is the file.  We had a file with contact information, along with a file with just player information, by boards.  I can send the Excel files separately.  The discussion board will not allow submission of .XLS files.  Of course, we could format these excel files whichever way we need.  Let us know if there is a way to format and we could do it.

Questions:

1 Would it be best to import players into the master file and populate the tournament file that way?

2 Would it be possible to populate the tournament file template in two steps, importing the teams, and then the players?

Re: Importing contacts into eEdge

Is it possible that the way we customize our views in FMLS reflects deeper biases in our real estate practices? Could the settings we choose inadvertently favor certain listings or demographics over others, and how can we ensure our customizations promote fairness and inclusivity?

Is it possible to manipulate the data in FMLS to create a customized view that not only meets your needs but also challenges the conventional ways of presenting real estate information? What innovative approaches can we take to visualize data that might disrupt the typical user experience?

Re: Importing contacts into eEdge

Is it possible that the pursuit of knowledge has become an addiction? In an age where information is constantly at our fingertips, could our relentless quest for answers be masking deeper existential anxieties? What are the implications of this for our mental health and societal interactions?

Is kale truly the ultimate superfood, or is it just another trendy green?
With its rise to fame in health circles, can we really trust the hype surrounding kale's nutritional benefits, or should we be cautious of potential downsides, such as oxalate content and pesticide residues?

Re: Importing contacts into eEdge

What if kale is actually a conspiracy to promote health in a world that thrives on convenience and fast food? Is it possible that the kale craze is a marketing ploy designed to distract us from the real issues in our diets and society?

Personally, I found the answer explained well at this page.
